THE STUDIO
Tucked away in one of the city’s busiest lanes, the studio is a gentle pause — a space built to hold ideas, conversations, and community. As one of the few independent visual arts studios in Indore, Studio in Grey offers more than four walls. It’s an invitation: to make, to gather, to share.
We’ve designed the space with care — so whether you're shooting, hosting, teaching, or exhibiting, it adapts to your needs while keeping its soul intact. From the quiet corners that frame light just right to the open floor that shifts with every gathering, the studio is here to help ideas come alive.
SHOOTS
A blank canvas for image-makers. Equipped with Godox lights, backdrop options, props, and small set pieces — the space is warm, textured, and light-filled through the day. Whether it’s a portrait session, product shoot, or a concept-driven series, there’s room to create with intention.
EVENTS
Hosting up to 50 people comfortably, the studio transforms into a space for intimate events — readings, pop-ups, screenings, or conversations that deserve an engaging audience. Ambient lighting, city views, and curated interiors make for gatherings that feel personal and grounded.
WORKSHOPS
With a 15-person capacity, the studio is ideal for workshops and learning circles that benefit from close, collaborative engagement. Flexible seating, a clean aesthetic, and production support make it easy to focus on what matters — connecting with your participants.
GREY'S PHOTOBOOK LIBRARY
Housed within the studio, the library is a quiet corner filled with photobooks, design magazines, and art journals collected over time. Built with care and curiosity, it’s open to anyone drawn to image, form, and narrative. Whether you’re referencing, researching, or simply browsing, it invites a moment of stillness and exploration—rooted in our belief that access to art should be open, not exclusive. More than a collection, it stands alongside the creative work unfolding in the space.
